Welcome Players

College is hard but I'm going to try to put in at least a minimal amount of effort into this project because this idea has been my baby since high school. I don't have an update schedule planned but I am going to do my best to crank out the first chapter as reasonably soon as I can. This is the most ambitious personal project I've ever taken on so there will probably be many many screw-ups along the way.

I guess this comic is sort of a homage to my favorite nostalgia series but done in a way that I think suits me. I'm going to try to structure the story and world in a way that makes it inviting for people who have never played .hack and have no prior knowledge of the series. For some this might just be a cute story about a bunch of friends dealing with online shenanigans!

If you have played .hack though consider this as an AU/retelling of the series with the characters playing a very different version of "The World" than the one in the games.

I will probably set up a folder here on deviantART to post the pages and I might also post them to my comic blog as well. We'll see how this plays out!
